Send Email from populated word file put saved on sharepoint

Hi All,

We've got a flow:

1) Populate  MS Word template: populate word file from input in model driven app

2) Create file on Sharepoint: save the populated word file on sharepoint

3) Send email: send the saved file via email

Step 1 and 2 are working good. Step 3 is behaving weird. When I open the email attachment on an Iphone and Ipad it is showing the populated file correctly. If I open the email attachment on a DELL laptop or Microsoft Surface, it shows the template document (non-populated) only.

Anybody has a clue?

Thanks in advance,

Sounds very strange, can you post a screenshot of the flow?

    Hi Paulie78

Below are some screenshot, I assume it goes wrong in the step of the sending the email out.

I was a bit too quick in my post. I need to make a small correction. On an Iphone/Ipad, the populated document shows the document correctly in a preview mode, but when I open it on the Word app, it also just shows the template. On my DELL  or Surface, even in preview mode it just shows the template.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Try below steps -

    1. Get file content

Attachment content should be the Body of get file content.

Let me know if this works.
