Hi, I need to add an updated date text box in the main screen where I can control from ms access. Can anyone help me?

Sorry guys, I think it's my mistake that I haven't explained the requirement correctly.

What I wanted was to add a 'Date' on a POWERAPP which I created and updating monthly basis. The updating part is being done with MS Access (back end). So, in order the users to see when it was last updated I need to show what date it was last updated.

Eventually, I managed to do that with another gallery item which shows the date last updated.

To add an updated on date text box in Microsoft Access, you can try these steps:
Open your Access form or report in Design view or Layout view
On the Design tab, in the Header / Footer group, click Date and Time

Here are some ways to add a date to a text box in Microsoft Access:
Use the Date Picker

Add the date and time to a report or form

hey

normally Power Apps is your front end and the datasource is your backend. Why do you want to control a field from the datasource? I guess the users wont have access to the datasource itself, so it does not really make sense for me .

Hi, I have a PowerApp with sharepoint list which I update from my desktop pc via MS Access. It's a company structure basically. What I need is to show the last updated date on the Main Screen of the PowerApp. For that I prefer the date picked up from the same MS Access database (maybe another table) which is convenient for me to update the date.
