Display amount in a DataCardValue how it is seen in a SharePoint list

Hi,

I have an app that looks up, from a SharePoint list, goods that also have a ref number and cost, columns.

In the SP list the costs are displayed with a £ symbol and decimal place of 2 (£1,500.00, £15.00, etc) 

How can I get this format, with or with not the £ symbol to display in a DataCardValue field.

The values look like this

I have another field that will calculate the quantity to the cost and provide a grand total.

This will then determine were the approval flow will go

    Use this formula for default : "£" & Text(Parent.Default,"[$-en-GB]0.00")

    Thank you for your prompt reply.

    I've added your solution in and it's partially worked.  
    Not sure if I need the "£" symbol in the actual field so I will add it a icon on the outside of the field

    The value in the field does not display the zero's at the after the decimal point or at let the last one.
    I've done a test and it displays in the SP list
