Flow send email step not working with internal links from Sharepoint - links are broken

I have a flow that takes an annoucements list item from Sharepoint and then sends this out as a global email after an approval step.

Unforunately the email body is transforming links and making them broken in the eventual email.

This is the same regardless of whether the Sharepoint user has selected insert link from Sharepoint or insert from external address

As an example - in Sharepoint the link is:

https://<sitename>.sharepoint.com/sites/com-Home/SitePages/Home.aspx

However in the Microsoft flow email this changes to (for a mac user)

applewebdata://A41CF8C1-4B74-4164-8D21-17D745B1AF6C/sites/com-Home/SitePages/Home.aspx

In flow I've got the email option use HTML set to yes.
External links work fine - it's only internal ones that this is happening with.

    Hi @IanROH,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow’s configuration?

Which browser do you use with Microsoft Flow on Mac?

Actually, the GUID code is generated by ‘<sitename>.sharepoint.com’ , it may be a protection mechanism on Mac OS.

I have made a test on my side (Google Browser in Windows) and don’t have the issue that you mentioned. My flow’s configuration as below:7.JPG

The flow works successfully as below:8.JPG

    9.JPG

Please take a try to use other browser to run the flow and check if the issue still exists.

NOte: You can upload a pbix file to Onedrive or any web storage and share the link. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Hi Kris

Thanks for replying.  The difference in my case is I don't want people to just get a link back to Sharepoint.  The email must contain the body of the list item in Sharepoint.   (the email goes out to the whole organisation many of whom don't use Sharepoint).

This worked fine using SP2010/13 workflow previously.

So my flow email body just contains the dynamic content field of Body.   Will attempt to post a screenshot!

These emails frequently contain links to other internal Sharepoint pages which have been added as URL's when the body of the announcement list item is created within Sharepoint.   It's those links that don't come through correctly in the final emails (as opposed to any link back to the Sharepoint list item)
