How to create an advanced form based on list record

Good Day. Thank you for your interest.

We have a business requirement where we have post listing of all current job openings and then have people submit a job application form for a specific job on that (record). They are two tables, "Job Openings" and "Job Application". I know we can accomplish this with a List and basic form but our Job Applications form is an Advanced form. Job openings is the table with the list of current openings and Job Applications entity is the table with the job application details.

Also in the PowerApps editor, we saw that on 'Create New' in list, we can redirect to a Webpage instead of a form, this works partially but it doesn't pass the record value of the Job that the person is applying for?

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Hi @arslanarif ,

It sounds like you need to create a relationship between "Job Openings" and "Job Application" 1:N then add "Job Openings" as a lookup field to "Job Application".

can you share screenshot of the advanced form setup and the list setup?
