Power Automate - Send an Email (V2) Outlook action (seemingly) randomly fails

Hi everyone,
I would like to ask if anyone else has encountered a problem with PowerAutomate flows showing an Unauthorized error?

The context is, our team has built a PowerApps application with a function allowing colleagues (users) to request the backend team to register new customers.

The general process for users looks like this.
Access the app via browser > Key in customer information > Click Submit (Submit button linked to a Power Automate flow) > An email is sent to the team responsible to register new customers into system

The flow itself works like below.
PowerApps Submit button as Trigger > Compose to process the keyed-in data > Parse JSON > Create Item in Sharepoint so that a Record is created for every single request > Send an Email (V2)

Currently, we are facing an issue whereby the Flow runs into error at Send an Email (V2) when our users submit a request via the app.
The thing is, not all users are facing this issue. For some, the flow will run successfully.
This is causing some confusion as to where the problem lies.

The error message looks something like below.

"message": "Error from token exchange: Runtime call was blocked because connection has error status: Enabled| Error, and office365 is in the block list. Connection errors: [ParameterName: token, Error: Code: Unauthorized, Message: 'Failed to refresh access token for service: aadcertificate. Correlation Id=6ef7cd53-cd48-4eba-883a-c5df3297071a, UTC TimeStamp=11/5/2024 11:22:49 PM, Error: Failed to acquire token from AAD: {\"error\":\"invalid_grant\",\"error_description\":\"AADSTS700082: The refresh token has expired due to inactivity. The token was issued on 2024-08-03T17:50:55.6233597Z and was inactive for 90.00:00:00. Trace ID: 9bbcdb95-9480-4d34-95fb-add8e7b05e00 Correlation ID: 4fa9717e-1374-4241-b7aa-ed0c341618b7 Timestamp: 2024-11-05 23:22:49Z\",\"error_codes\":[700082],\"timestamp\":\"2024-11-05 23:22:49Z\",\"trace_id\":\"9bbcdb95-9480-4d34-95fb-add8e7b05e00\",\"correlation_id\":\"4fa9717e-1374-4241-b7aa-ed0c341618b7\",\"error_uri\":\"https://login.windows.net/error?code=700082\"}']

I have read another post whereby the issue was solved by ensuring the Connections on PowerApps was connected.

However, in my case, some users who failed to run the flow the first time were able to re-submit successfully later on without going through the solution mentioned above.

Would love some more insight from others who faced similar issues, or have successfully trouble-shooted this.

Regards,
JW

    Hi,

I had the similar problem - and it happens really randomly.  Sometimes it worked, sometimes not.
Is your flow the part of solution?

    For me worked this approach:
    1. Remove flow from the solution
    2. Add back to the solution - in this step connection references have changed successfully.

    L.
