Created an app from a dataverse table, struggling with URL links

Hi,

this is probably really simply, but I am still finding my feet with Power Apps.

I am trying to create an app that is linked to a dataverse. The app will provide users with Client news articles and updates. It needs to be available on all devices. I have built the app and it is all working (I did not create the app from scratch I did it from the dataverse table), apart from one sticking point:

In my table I have a column with links to the news articles (all works fine in the table). The News Article appears in the app but is showing the URL address and it is not linked.

I would like to just have some text saying 'Click here to view the article' and the user is taken straight to that article.

I have attached a screenshot of a dummy entry in the table and one of the dummy entry in the app. It is the News Article Link bit that I need help with.

Any ideas? Any help is really appreciated 🤔

Hi @Llwilj ,

May I ask the Poweer App you mentioned is the Canvans App?

If Yes, there are two methods for you to apply the function.

We created the data source below.
Insert a Gallery.
The Items is the Datasource you want to show.
Text of TextLabel.
"Click it to read"
OnSelect:
Launch(ThisItems.URL)

Or you can insert a HTML Text In the Gallery.
"<b><font color=blue><a href = "&ThisItem.URL&">Click it to read</a></font></b>"
