Draft Flow status

Hello,

I'm new to Power Automate/Flow.  I'd like to create a flow where when the user fills out a form they have the option to submit it for approval or to put it in a "draft" status.  Then they can change it to go through the approval process.  I'd rather they didn't have to access the SharePoint list to do this.  Is it possible?  If so, would you be so kind to provide the step by step process?

Thank you,

Tara

    Hi @TYOzzy,

Yes, you can choose either of the two.

Thank you, but I'm using a SharePoint list.  I need to use Excel as well?

    Hi @TYOzzy,

To do this, you need to create two streams, the first of which is to store the draft form information in Excel table based on the status bar.
When users fill out the form, they need to choose whether the status bar is approved or draft, and if it is a draft, store it in an Excel table.
If it is an approval, create an approval.

The second flow is to monitor changes in the Excel table status bar. If the user sets it for approval, the approval process is established and the line is deleted.
