Get File Content (SharePoint) Files not found

Hi there,

UPDATE: I have figured out my problem. I selected the incorrect folder in the "Get files (properties only)" action! What a newb!

I am fairly new to Power Automate and having trouble with an aspect of a flow. I have searched the forums but haven't been able to problem-solve this so thought I'd reach out. Apologies if this has been answered before I just could not find it.

Essentially I am trying to get multiple files from a specific SharePoint folder and attach those files to an email. However, when I go to retrieve the files it says files not found. I have tried the following method from this video How to Attach Multiple Files in Email with Power Automate and previously also this video How To Send Multiple Attachments via Email in Power Automate.

The error I am getting is:
"It appears that the 'GetFileContent' action is failing because the file specified in the 'id' parameter cannot be found. Double-check that the 'id' parameter is correct and corresponds to an existing file in the SharePoint library. If the file does not exist, you may need to update the 'id' parameter to point to the correct file."

I have checked this and to me it appears to be correct but you know, you don't know what you don't know.

The method I am currently working with is from the first video, but the problem is ultimately the same, the files are not being found. I have not yet been able to get the files so don't know if the rest of the flow is yet working so obviously just focusing on this initial hurdle. Please see screenshots below.

Happy to provide any further info if needed.

    Hi @Nakor84

Sorry its late and I was trying to be funny because I was pasting in an answer to point at the right place. Then I thought I would be funny and instead deleted my stuff by typing over it.

lol you'll get me more 🙂 as i answer your stuff, I truly just meant to say as my answer you were pointing to the wrong place per your images.

Im glad you are good now 🙂 i know how frustrating it can be when the smallest thing gets us.. Our eyes deceive us all the time 🙂

Hi @FLMike, thanks for your quick response. Can you explain a little for me so I understand? In the guide, they were very definite about NOT selecting the"ID" property. What do you mean by "its a trick"? Are they following poor practice?

    Hi @Nakor84

please Replace Identifier with just ID the first one.

Its a trick.. they shouldn't label it like that.

If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers
