Adding to the Project Tasks table in Automate

Hi all,

I'm trying to build a flow which simply adds a row to the Project Tasks table in the Dataverse and am getting the following error.

I'm unsure if what I have entered for the 'Project (projects)' is correct. I have tried inputs from the highlighted column below (makes the most sense to me) but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
JC

That is a pretty common error when working with the Dataverse connector. Lookup fields (like Project & Project Bucket in your screenshot) require a different format in the input of that add a new row action.

Have a look at this blog from Tom Riha what format you can use and how to lookup the correct table name for that format:

Were you able to add tasks via power automate?

Assuming your plans are in Project for the Web as your screen shot is the Dataverse connector.

    I'm having the same issue.

I am able to use Power automate actions to add tasks to basic MS Planner.

    Thanks!
