Connecting to a Virtual Network

My company is setting up the the first unattended bots using a Hosted Machine and the Microsoft Hosted VM.
 
We ran into the issue of not being able to pull from SQL because the VM is not connected to our network.
 
The only solution we found is to create a virtual network and link that to the Hosted Machine which seems like a very lengthy process.
 
Is there an easier or quicker process to link the Microsoft Hosted VM to our network?

    Your network admin would be the person who can better answer your questions regarding your network configuration. If you need access to an SQL server in your environment then some form of virtual network or gateway would be required.
