Environment Variables of Type Secret Not Available for Selection in Dynamic Content Builder in Power Automate Cloud Flows.
I have created several environment variables and a instant cloud flow within a solution. The environment variables of type secret are not visible in the dynamic content builder. The variables of type string are available.
The variables have been set up correctly since they are validated upon creation. I can get the variable value within the flow using an Unbound Action Task with action RetrieveEnvironmentVariableSecretValue.
I have tried publishing customizations, clearing browser cache and creating the variables outside of a solution. There are several threads suggesting that this feature does not work.

    Hello Mr Expiscornovos .
Thank you for suggestions. I tried referencing the parameter using the format you suggested but again the parameter was not found during flow execution. Just to reiterate that the environment variables which are NOT Azure Key Vault secrets are available for selection in the dynamic content builder illustrated in the second screenshot. I can work around the issue by adding unbound action task to get the secret value using a RetrieveEnvironmentVariableSecretValue action but this is not an ideal solution and does not explain why the environment variables which link to azure key vault secrets do not show up in dynamic content builder.

Just to double check. Did you also use the Name value of the environment variable in the expression? It needs to be a combination of both the Display name and Name values.
    parameters('<Display name> (<Name>)')

Can you which expression you used and also share a screenshot of your environment variable setup?

And is your flow is in the same solution as the environment variable?

Below is an example, if that helps?

@AB-21081204-0 It's hard to offer any recommendations without seeing your full flow and the logic behind it. If you are using the new designer, toggle it off and click each action to expand it. Upload a screenshot of your flow in edit mode.

Unfortunately using the suggested syntax parameters('<display name of env var>') in a dynamic expression does not resolve the issue. The flow returns an error. 'Parameter not found'

Not sure what is causing this issue.

But as a workaround have you tried referring to your environment variable via an expression instead?

    Try the below format:

parameters('Display name environment variable (Name environment variable)')
