Adding birthday reminders/celebration to Viva Engage

I saw this question was asked here How can I configure notifications of our employees birthday in Viva - Microsoft Community and answered by asking to ask for help here. I am replacing an external intranet site with a Sharepoint site that has viva engage embeded. One of the good/key features of the previous provider was that it automatically created a post on the day of any employees birthday or anniversary of them joining the company. Is it possible to create this in Viva engage from the 365 user profile or otherwise please? I am an complete novice with Power apps

Unfortunately, the birthday property is not something you can filter on in a user collection. However, you can create an extension attribute and record the birthday day and month with a fixed year (makes it easier to compare it to a fixed year, in my example 2025).

    Below is an example

    1. Create an extension attribute

    2. Set the values for your profiles

    3. Create a scheduled flow which queries this new extension property and compares it with todays date (with the 2025 fixed year)

@Expiscornovus I am stealing that :-) to use hehe

I only wanted to mention *and @Expiscornovus has given you the answer so please mark their as such), that you can put in a request for such a change, but don't limit the attribution solution you were given just for that as you can use it for many things, so use that as a learning thing lol I just did :-)
