Hello Community Experts,

I am trying to upload pdf files from local drive to SharePoint using PAD. However I am facing a problem related to Convert file to binary data. I can convert the file to binary and the variable shows how much byte. However next step is Create file in SharePoint site which fails saying powerFxExecutionContext.TryGetField(Data) : returned true but null. Please help me if you have any clue about this problem. Power Automate Desktop is the solution because am also running the recorder and don't want to create another flow in power automate cloud.

Thanks

Aparupa

    Hi,

    1) in action convert file to binary data give the path of your file then you have got output Binary data

    2) then in create file in share point action you can try this from screenshot

I can see you have Power Fx enabled in your flow. And it seems like it's the Power Fx module that's throwing the error. Since it's still in preview, it might be bugged. Have you tried doing the same in a flow where Power Fx is not enabled?

    Hi Chetan,

Thanks for your reply. I found out that my variables were not coming with % and thats because I had PowerFx Preview on for my flow. When I created a new one without this turned on, my flow works as you showed. Thank you 🙂
