Flow triggering conector (SQL Server - when an item is modified V2) isn't detecting and therefore I'm not even able to test it

Hey guys, I need some help!

The 1st connector I'm using is a SQL server - when an item is modified (V2) but when I test the flow, it times out saying that it hasn't been started. But I already know that the update occurs cause I validated it the DB. I've also validated users permissions and it's all ok. Strangely, eventhough I put the credentials correctly in the connector, it doesn't show me a list of tables to select, so I had to use the "personalized value" to input the name of the table I want to use.

I think that the error must be in this end, not recognizing the table's name, perhaps, or something else that might envolve why the list of tables isn't showing dynamically.

Does anyone know a way to help me out? I've also tried to recreate the connection to the DB and it didn't work as well.

Did you make sure you have a RowVersion column of type Timestamp in the SQL table? That is required if you want to use the When an item is Modified trigger in SQL.

Take a look at the known issues section of the documentation SQL Server - Connectors | Microsoft Learn

    • Table must have a ROWVERSION (a.k.a. TIMESTAMP) column for the modified row trigger

Well, I do have a datetime column that I use as formatDateTime(timestamp,'yyyy-MM-dd') because this information is inserted/updated by the user via PowerApps and I only set the user to choose the day (default property in the datacard as Today()), but don't know how to collect dynamically the timestamp, because I don't want the user to fill the time in the column. Will have to look that up now

A TimeStamp column should record the Date/Time of the change automatically.  But you need to specify a column of that type in the SQL database for Power Automate to be able to trigger when a change is made.
