Need Ideas on How to Send PowerBi Report Page to Slack Channel

Hi,

I've been tasked to automate a flow that will send data from a PowerBi report page (based on filters) to a slack channel. As an example per screenshot below, I need to send weekly kpi data from the table for each specified 'Venue' based on the filter "Forecast"

So for e.g. Country = 'Germany' which has 7 venues, I need to send a slack alert to each venue, their respective kpi data for the week which will include: e.g. Jul21-Wk1 - Onsite Revenue, Comparative, Var., Pax, Comparative, Var.

Hope that makes sense. I was thinking of using the export PBi report to PDF option but that requires additional license that is currently being explored by my IT department.

Appreciate any thoughts/ideas on the most efficient way to accomplish this. Thanks.

If you can have the report formatted to DOCX, XLSX, PPTX (etc?), @Anonymous, then you could just use the OneDrive Convert action, then delete the onedrive file after sending it to SLACK.

In terms of Slack, if you set up the basics of a Slack App, then you can do some reasonably cool things with the blocks method of sending messages. That said, the Slack connector is quite powerful on its own.

Regarding the OneDrive connector, here's an example I just posted (here) for someone else that essentially provides the file ready for movement within the SharePoint ecosystem, if you don't need that, then you could do similar elsewhere.

IRRC there are Google Drive Slack integrations that can alert a channel to a new file in a folder, you could make the file and it just tell the channel a new file is there. (this could all be really wrong, though 😅)
