Hello,
Disregard - I have solved it using this solution:
TLDR: I am extremely new to Power Automate and I would like to capture the file name of a file I upload in my manually triggered flow and save it to an excel file I have saved on One Drive.
Disclaimer: Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section or if this was already answered somewhere else. I've done my best to search but can't find anything that works (I don't save my files to a folder so the Get Files in Folder solution doesn't work). Solved: Extracting file name and using within flow - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com), Solved: how to extract file name in power automate desktop - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
Below is my flow:
I manually upload the invoice file and extract the information using an AI model I trained. The information all gets saved to an excel file I have saved on my One Drive folder. It's fantastic because the flow accurately extracts all the invoice details (invoice #, amount, etc), but I just can't figure out how to save the file name of the source PDF (i.e. "TestInvoice.pdf"). I have spent two days trying various things and I think I'm more confused now than I was when I started. 😂 Any thoughts?
This is how I add it to my excel file. It works great, I just can't get the file name to save.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
