Recorder not capturing the UI Elements on Java Applet

Hi Team,

I am facing an issue in recording on Power Automate Desktop. Recorder is not capturing the UI Elements in AWT Java application. It only captures the main Pane, but does not detect the Login button, Text fields etc.

Please find attached screenshot of the issue. As you can see only the pane is detected where as I am hovering over the username text field.

Java bridge is enabled as well. I am using PAD version 2.23.114

Hoping to hear from team soon!

    Hello,

Have you tried using the recorder feature to see if this results in any usable actions?  From time to time I have seen this behavior with login pages for Java apps.  If either the web or desktop UI actions do not work, I would suggest trying to use the focus window action > tab to the user name and send keys > do the same for password and then tab to 'Login' and press enter.

Also, when you get past the login screen does the automation work as intended?

Little late, but I had the same problem

This article (below) got me working, specifically, the part about blockSWT, this was the only thing to get mine working
