Question on Alternative for the Premium License used for SQL Database

Hi All,

 

We have PowerApps idea and about to start the development wherein we planned to utilize the SPO List, MS SQL Databases but we understand that it requires a Premium license. 

Thinking from the Cost saving perspective, Do you have any other alternative or direction to use Power Apps with MS SQL without premium license??

Any help on this would be appreciated!!

    For implementations going forward there are not alternatives to the Premium license if you are using SQL as a data source.  The best way to save cost is thru judicious use of Per App and Pay as you go licensing to decrease the expense.

    The post from @Pstork1 above is correct.

    Microsoft's business model is based around the sale of premium licenses, therefore there is no hack or possible way that you can use SQL Server without a premium license.
