Update Salesforce recording using Power Automate Flow

I'm trying to create a flow to update Salesforce record from an excel file in SharePoint. I would like to update the "Amount" in the Opportunity object from a report that we extract from different systems.

I'm quiet new to Power Automate so I appreciate any help

Thank you,

Zainab

You could run a filtered query against the SalesForce object first  to find your object ID. But a better way would be to include it from the start.

CAUTION! Salesforce object IDs are case sensitive. Either use the Case Safe ID, or make sure your process knows how to handle collation.

    Hi lbendlin,

It asks for the Salesforce record ID and since the excel file is not exported from Salesforce, I can't get each Opportunity ID.

We do have another custom ID field that is in both, the external file and in Salesforce. Is there a way we can use that ID to identify which opportunities to update?

    Regards,

    Zainab

Use the standard "Update record"  action. Specify the object and the field you want to change.  Have you tried to do that?
