I have an Excel table which I want t patch some data to. All works perfectly for myself, but not for other users? When I run the app as another user, nothing happens at all when the button is pressed? There is no error or anything? It is as though the button as nothing attached to it?

The Excel is on a shared site with all users given access. I have tried re-connecting the Excel table, but nothing happens?!

I can write to a SP list as any user but not this Excel file?

Here is what you can do, just follow this to the T, and you'll see why (I believe)

I wish Macros were working... ugg lol

Question (before my steps), if you Open the App in EDIT mode as another person, does it work for them? Don't have to do this was just curious

1. Close the app

2. Go to the apps tab on the Home Screen

3. On your Apps row click the three ... to get the popup menu

4. Click Monitor

5. Let Monitor Load (it will in your browser Tab)

6. Click the Play Published Version Button

7. Repro the issue

8. Go to the Monitor Tab

9. In the Filter on the Top Right type Error

If any lines have error, you may need to click several as sometimes it will have many lines and not all are worth a hill of beans lol.

But when you find one that gives you 4 Tabs in the side window, you would go to Tab 4 and open the Header AND the Body Details in there it will explain what permission is missing.
