Good day, please assist me with guidance on how I can create a workflow that allows extracting information from an email (body) and taking specific parts of that data to fill out an Excel sheet with information we receive daily. I would appreciate if one of the experts could guide me step-by-step as I am new to the platform. Thank you all

It's depends on the email what you are receieving and what sort of information you are looking, when you save local, it's better you use Power Automate Desktop(PAD) instead of Power automate web that gives you more easier approach when you dealing with on-prem things

    Hope this helps

    Thanks,
    Srini

Posting a suggested answer with as much detail as I can. This is a first for me, so I hope it works out.

This solution is based on a video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRQ8O_aAPG4 but I did have to make many corrections along the way.
Also got help from this community.

As @Srini007 said it very much depends on the body of the email. This solution assumes the body of the email contains an HTML table and uses Power Automate cloud flow no Desktop.

Screen shots of my flow along with explanation as best I can.

Email with simple HTML table of made-up fruit info ...

Trigger and first three actions ...

Apply to each loop to convert HTML rows to something usable, 5 actions in the loop ...

Prepare row with fields for Excel, 3 actions with Apply to Each ...

For testing and learning I created an Excel file with a Table and the column headings to match, for this next action ...

If you have any issue with reading the screen shots, please let me know.
