Mail to task?

Hello,

I’m thinking of building an automation that would be triggered when an email is flagged in Outlook. In my dream scenario, an AI would somehow analyze the content of the flagged email, translate it to Polish (my native language) and create a task in Microsoft To Do or another task manager like Todoist. I would like the task name to sound as natural as possible, like I would create it myself from the email’s context. Ideally, it would also Include the main points or action items from the email in the task body, the AI would extract and include any due dates mentioned in the email and determine and set the priority level based on the email's content.

I’ve been experimenting with Power Automator, the Graph API - but honestly, I have no experience in coding and I feel like I’m losing time trying to create something that may as well as be impossible. Here are my questions - has anyone built an automation like this? Could you please share it or share tips how to do it in the best (and possibly cheapest) way possible?

Regards,
Adam

You could probably do this with the AI builder features in Power Automate. You can learn more at Boost productivity: Automate emails, documents, and images with Microsoft AI Builder. I moved your post into the AI Builder forum as someone there would better be able to provide guidance.

We've been dabbling in this at my company, but I have not been directly involved in the project. From feedback I have heard, it has promise but it is trickier to set up and configure than anticipated. Good luck!
