PVA Bot not responding in Teams

I created a bot and pointed it to a sharepoint site for generative content. It tests okay, no problems, no errors. I published the bot to teams. When I add it in teams it does not respond to any input and returns no answers, not even the rephrase prompt. Any idea where to start looking?

    I had the same issue originally (Copilot simply was not responding at all in Teams but working ok in Copilot Studio).

    I added the Scopes (Files.Read.All etc.) as mentioned by Ahmad Pirani, also I had set the Teams Channel Details for "Website", "Privacy Statement" and "Terms of Use" to a site that required authentication, which might have caused issues during loading. I changed this to a public website. These two did the trick for me, after republishing I immediately received responses in Teams.

    This is very close, I believe the root problem is people (me too) published using Teams and Power Apps and that blocks Sharepoint.  I have not tried, but I believe configuring Manual (for custom website), will be required to get it to pull the Sharepoint data into Teams.  See this for configuration documentation https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/configuration-end-user-authentication#only-for-teams

    There are couple of things you need to do.

     

    Enable authentication

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/advanced-end-user-authentication

    This is necessary so that Teams user can authenticate. While adding scope also add the following. This is not mentioned anywhere except in one of the community's answer by an expert.

    Files.Read.All

    Sites.Read.All

    Make sure you also add the scope back to the copilot's manual authentication. See screenshots below.

    Some would say you don't have to, but I found that doing this was needed.

    I have the same problem, the bot is providing answers from my SharePoint documents when I am testing from Copilot Studio, and when I add it on Teams  No response.

    Hello, same problem here.

    I've found this solution, the thing is that I can't contact Microsoft Support. Maybe you can, here is how you can contact them

    My problem is that I don't have the Support tab in my Power Platform page.

    11 January 2024, and this is still an issue. There no issue resolution or step-by-step guidance by Microsoft on this matter.
