What is the data source you are using? What is the trigger you need to do the cloning based on it?

I need to create a button in opportunity and when I click that button, need to get the clone of that record

So you need to add a new dataverse Trigger when a row is added and choose the opportunity record and then use an action Add a new row and choose opportunity and use the Dynamics mapping to clone the records.

    Hello there,

To clone a record using Power Automate, you would need to set up a flow that duplicates the record's data by creating a new record with the same information. This process can be quite complex and may require setting up triggers, actions, and mapping fields.

However, for a simpler and more efficient solution, consider using Inogic's Click2Clone app. Click2Clone simplifies the record duplication process, eliminating the need for complex automation setups.

Click2Clone is an innovative tool engineered to streamline and simplify the process of cloning records within your CRM in just one click.

Click2Clone enables to clone both standard entities like Quote, Order, Invoice, etc. and also custom entities. To copy a record of any entity in Dynamics 365 CRM, open the record and click the ‘Click2Clone’ button. The record will be instantly copied. Also, you can automate this process using workflows.

Moreover, you can generate multiple copies of a single record. It supports batch cloning, allowing to duplicate multiple records simultaneously. Also, it has user friendly template configuration for copying, with the ability to select desired fields and relationships to be copied over.

While Power Automate offers a way to clone records through a complex and customizable flow, Inogic's Click2Clone app provides a much simpler and more efficient alternative.

You can downlaod the app from Inogic website or Microsoft AppSource  for a 15-day free trial to evaluate its features.

    Thanks,
    Sam
