Hello community,
to start with a (sad but true) fact: I am a newbie in Power Apps 😞
But I have a project in mind to get familiar with the Power Apps solution. As with the pandemic situation the capacity of the offices is reduced and employees need to "register" for a place for each working day, I want to get rid from a standard Excel file and provide a Power App to the whole department.
Employees should be able to register for single days of the next 4 weeks if the room has not the maximum bookings reached.
Use case: I know I am in office 3 days a week. So I open the app and click "checkin" for these three days every week. Other colleagues are available 4 days (crossing my days as well). The maximum capacity of the room is set to 20. The apps needs to check while opening the current amount of bookings. In the most beautiful solution the employee gets an email with confirmation.
Is such a solution possible with Power Apps and M365 user information?
I thought about a list in the background for each day, maximum of 20 slots and a variable counting down. But I do not know how to start building it 😞 is there someone being able (and willing 🙂 ) to help me with necessary "ToDo" and hints?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
