Sharepoint List cuts off file extensions

Hello everyone, 

 

i have the following flow - manual trigger to create a list item and attach a file if any. While testing on my end attachments are being created in the list but for some reason the file extension gets cut off therefore when trying to open the files from the list i cant. 

 

please help with the file extension.

    There are a couple different sources in the dynamic content for the file name.  Some have extensions included and some don't.  I suspect you are using one of the ones that doesn't when you create your attachment.  Can you post more details and I'll try to point you in the right direction.

    I see the create item action, but what action is creating the 'SharePoint File Name with' dynamic content.  You need to find that, because I don't think an extension is getting created.

    Hi @P00118510 ,

     

    The File name with extension output by the Create item action is the Title of the Item, which actually has no extension.

    In addition, if you are using the uploaded file as an attachment, then you should seem to get the name of the file.

    If you want to get the name of the uploaded file, you can refer to the following method.
