Hello,

I have the flow that started 4:10PM CST and finished in 39 Sec. at the end of it there is a HTTP request to SharePoint to utilizing /_api/SP.Utilities.Utility.SendEmail endpoint.

the Email arrived my inbox in 4:22PM CST ~12minutes later. This is too slow!. Can someone elaborate why this is taking this long and is there a workaround to improve the speed of the response and get the emails faster?

P.S. my company has Office 365 E5 license which I think is premium.

    Hi @ialbasheir-kbr

does http request action executed faster ?

If yes, then reason behind late mail arrival may due to your mailbox settings as in case if it is an external domain email, and that email is sent to your organizational mail id, it may time due to the security issue and all

    Thank you Nived,
The Action was very quick and itself didn't take more than a sec as a part of the 39s Flow completion time.  My Inbox is my organizational account (all this is under one tenant). I ran this flow before and typically it takes 1-2 minutes or less. This will eliminate security checks on my mailbox. The service is unpredictable since we get the emails quick and sometimes, they take long.  I was demoing this service to a client who is moving away from on-Perm 2013 SP and this put me in bad spot trying to explain why this is taking so long while me saying "it wont take long!"  for it to show up 12 minutes later. I need an explanation why this is really slow. does azure delegate HTTP requests to SP? did I demo on a busy day for Microsoft servers? does O365 does have bottlenecks between automate to SP to outlook exchange?
