Send a Microsoft Graph HTTP Request - Forbidden, missing scope permissions - but works in Graph Explorer

My need is to take users that are added to a group - and then have them automatically added to a shared channel in MS Teams.

After a day - this is tested and working in Graph Explorer:

Yet - in Power Automate - I am getting an error related to 'missing scope permissions' Forbidden. I have the proper rights (as tested with Graph Explorer) - so what am I missing?

    You'll need to have the proper API permissions added (and consented) for the app in order to fully see this through. That requires the admin intervention.

    Extend your app with Microsoft Graph permissions - Teams | Microsoft Learn

    Hi @SudeepGhatakNZ ,

    I have a similar problem here.

    The Power Automate flow is using my own connection. It is my user who is doing the request here. There is no App Registration here. My user is Team Administrator and the Power Automate Action "Send a Microsoft Graph permission - Teams" return the error: "Missing scope permissions on the request"

    This is the request I'm trying to do: https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/teams/{teamid}/channels/{channelid}/filesFolder

    What is the problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @bbald,
    Did you ever find a solution? I was successfully requesting data from a teams channel for months and I changed the Team and channel ID only to receive this error today. My permissions haven't changed and the query works in Graph Explorer.

    @AgustinRodasNav

    I ended up getting my request to work by changing from 'v1.0' to 'beta'. I was also using a slightly different action. I used Invoke an HTTP request which is under the connector "HTTP with Microsoft Entra ID (preauthorized)". This is a premium connector though.
