I'm trying to create a fairly simple Leave Request flow which is triggered by an MS Form. The flow works really well, but I'm having trouble trying to add a task which checks the leave calendar and reports back to the manager as to whether or not there is already an event created on the requested date range.

I have a very simple condition which, when the start time and end time is equal to Null it sends an email to the manager..

If Yes - saying that the date is free to book, nobody else is off on that date

If No - saying that the date is already taken and to consider this before approving the leave

During testing, if I chose an occupied date the flow succeeds and carries out the valid "If No" condition but if I choose a free date, the flow succeeds and does not carry out the "If Yes" condition and no email is sent as intended.

I'm fairly new to Power Automate so I'm probably doing something simple wrong. Please can someone helps with this?
