Run only users permission to initiate a flow from a SharePoint List button

Hello,

I created a button in a SharePoint List that runs a flow once it is clicked.

However, it seems it only works for users who are owners of the flow.

When I gave a team member Run only users permission, he received an email with Get button link. After he clicked on that it sent him to a page saying to Get access, when he clicked on that he received an error.

The thing is I already gave him access and his name shows in the Run only users section.

When I gave that same user Owner permission the process worked like a charm.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thank you!

    Hi @Anonymous

    We have seen several scenarios like the one you mention in your post. The best thing here would be to create a support case so we can check on this behavior.

    Hello @chsanche,

    How would I create a support case if I'm not on a Premium plan?

    Thank you!

    I assume you are using the Trigger  â€˜For a selected item’ trigger to manually start a Flow on a document and you have shared the connections(screenshot below).

    Please confirm that you have selected the owners, email ID in the drop down so the Flow run under your(owners) permissions.

    @CFernandes Yes, all your assumptions are correct, and it was all applied as you described, but still had the issue reported in my original post.

    @Anonymous

    You will need to open a ticket with Power Automate support team, as the configurations are correct and we double checked it.

    You need to request you Power Automate admin to open a ticket for you. Once you get a resolution please share it with us.

    Thank you @CFernandes, but it doesn't seem like I can open a ticket.

    The only button I get on the page is to give Feedback as per screenshot.

    I believe I would need a Premium Plan for that but correct me if I'm wrong.

    @Anonymous Lets try another way,

    Navigate to -

    https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/support/  and click on "Contact Support".

    @CFernandes Already tried that as well, it seems I need a Premium plan for that as per below screenshot...

    @Anonymous You need a premium plan 😑

    I have another idea. Can you Export and Import the Flow and then see if it works as expected.
