I'm trying to have this rule throw an error on the "Overall Assessment" field if it's not populated when I move the record to an Activity Status of "Completed".

Activity Status does not equal "Completed"

THEN

Set Overall Assessment as Not Business Required

ELSE IF

Overall Assessment does not contain data

THEN

Show the error message "Overall Assessment Required when Completing an Assessment" against field Overall Assessment

What I'm seeing on the screen is that I can change the status of the record, and after the record is read only then the error message shows up. I need the error to happen before the record is allowed to change to Completed. Is this just a simple reordering of the rule?
