Adding a Table over an Un-tabled Spreadsheet

Good Morning,

I have a Flow that is given an Excel Spreadsheet that has NO tables.

This spreadsheet has an undetermined number of rows, but the columns are a known entity.

In order to create a table that covers / holds all the data on the spreadsheet, using an Excel action, I have to know the number of rows, correct?

Is there a way to determine the number of rows in an Un-Tabled spreadsheet?

There is an action that you can use to create a table in a spreadsheet if it doesn't have one.  Just create the table with a higher row count than you know will be in the table. Then when you read the table you can filter out the empty rows.

Yeah, that was going to be my fall-back process, if I can't find a way to count like I am asking. I'll take it as an answer, though, that you can't count the rows w/o a table being there.

I have not found an easy way to count the rows, so I've used that work around several times to process spreadsheets that are sent as email attachments without tables. You will need a short delay after adding the table before you try to read it to get consistent results.
