Hello All

I'm having the following issue. I'm having problems opening apps saved in the cloud or localy. The error comes as 1error.png

My session ID : eeeddec9-2d70-2a47-51a0-84efe5d93333.

When I log into another desktop client I don't have any issues. Please help!

    Hi @abecerra,

Could you please check to see if the PowerApps Studio version is under the same Version 2.0.590 on the different Desktop clients?

Have you tried to open the App from PowerApps studio web version with the problematic machine?

I will forward your session ID for further investigation.

    Regards

    Hello Abecerra,

Thank you for notifying us of this. There is a bug with certain apps that were saved in Web Authoring which cause this.

If you are able to open the same app with a different client, please let me know what the version is. You can find it on the same scrren you've got below. I see your screenshot with the error is version 2.0.590. It would be good to know the version of your clients that are able to open it, just to confirm.

Once open, you can fix the app by manually clicking the 'Refresh" button on each of your tables in the Data Sources panel.

Note, this must be done on the Windows store version of PowerApps, not in the web authoring site.

@joem I am running into the same error. I used the web to modify and save my PowerApp and now it cannot be opened in the Windows10 desktop app.

I have ensured that I have the latest version from the MS Store. Help?

can you include a session id from your client? the error dialog should show it when you click on the "more..." link.

@joem my error dialog doesn't have a more link/button unfortunately. It simply says:

    To get your session Id:

    1. Go to File (if an app is open)

    2. Account -> Diagnostics -> Session details.

nvm, I did a restart and full reinstall and the problem has gone away.

    Strange though for sure.
