I have a large powerApps. SInce the update to PowerApps Studio Version 3.18122 I am not able to select labels (or any other object in a gallery to edit and move them. Adding new labels (or othe robjects) to the Gallery is also not possible (copying is also does not work)). Anyone else expereincing the same problems? When I edit a new gallery, I can add and edit labels. once I save and close PowerApps Studio and reopen the App I cannot edit the labels anymore. Strange and also frustrating behaviour.
Hi @PowerWhisperer
This is probably due to the enhanced rendering being set. Go to File -> Apps -> Enhanbced rendering and move the slider to "Off"..
Close the App down and reopen it and see if you still have the problem.

Yes, I am experiencing similar issues - the workaround I've used for this is to select the items from the left-hand tree-view list of App items rather than clicking within the actual visual App area to select them.
Hi @iAm_ManCat
Yes I have also used that workaround.
I have used the same woraround, but I have come tot the point that I like to add extra Labels. I am not able to add extra Lables tot the Gallery, they are added outside the Gallery. It looks like you cannot select the first item in the gallery weher you can add and edit items.
Yes you can switch off Enhanced rendering - see my post above.
When you have one of the labels/controls selected from within the gallery (i.e you are already within the first item), you should be able to click insert to add a label inside the gallery, and yes Improved Rendering seems to be the culprit..
Hi PowerWhisperer,
I also experienced this and found that wherever I had added a Gallery to a group this occurred - not just for that Gallery but for all of them - To resolve it I removed all my galleries from groups and normal functionality returned.Hope this helps (at least until the bug is fixed) 🙂
Kind regards,
RT
Yes, this solution works, but I first had to delete 70 Groups (Enhanced version) and "reset" them to the "classic" group before I could test it Thanks for al the help.
