Flow is not triggering with When a record is created is used for CDS

Posted on by

I have created a flow which needs to trigger on the creation of a record but I have tried it so many times but its not triggering. There is no error no nothing it is just not triggering. It however triggers with Dynamics 365 connector which is strange.

I used the service principal to connect to the CDS (current) connector and voila the problem got solved. Wrote a blog on it.

Why and how to use Service principal to trigger PowerAutomate? | Summit Bajracharya

@summitb - Have you tried the "CDS (current environment)" connector? The Dynamics 365 connector is deprecated. Also, the "CDS (current environment)" connector can only be used if the flow is created from a solution.

    Hi @summitb,

Please try to delete the trigger then recreate it again, there is a post solved by this method, and there are some methods you could try:

    Hi:

I have a similar problem with a trigger (when creating a file in sharepoint - properties only) when it is located after the initial trigger. As I am just exploring Flow, I wonder if it is possible to have several triggers in the same flow and what is the care to consider.
