Get info from sharepoint list in a work flow dynamically

I am new in this topic and hope that this topic was not discussed already. At least i couldn´t find an answer to my question.

We use a sharepoint website in which all all external employees are listed. Here we have values like FirstName, LastName, expiration Date, Project assignment, etc...

We also create new external employees with the help of a form. The data will be written in this sharepoint list. We have also a list of project manager. Each project manager group has his name (e.g. project group Name BMW-Leipzig). The IT guy, who is mainly responsible for the power automate and forms, is telling me that it is not possible that the list of Project groups can be listed dynamically (very important dynamically)  in the form where we create new entries. The problem is currently that we have manually "to touch" each new entry for an external employee and assign the project group entry afterwards. He is telling me further that it takes too much time, if we work with fix lists. I don´t trust him here.

Do you have any answer or idea how to do it. I tried it also, but as i said, started already with forms and power automate. Maybe a screenshot of flow would be helpful. Thanks in advance. LG SteviB

@stevib1975 if you are using Microsoft Forms for the form then your IT guy is correct in that Forms cannot do anything dynamically, it's just a simple static form submission app.

Or is it a SharePoint list form? If so you could use a Power Apps customized form, and depending on where your Project groups list is and how it's structured could select the correct group at the same time as the external user is created.

So a bit more info about what you are using for your form and what your lists are and someone in the forum  should be able to assist further.

Hello all, sorry for late answer. I was on vacation. Normally it was a sharepoint list, but i have left the company now shortly. So this case can be closed as i can not give you more input and result. Thanks a lot !
