Java desktop application - Power Automate Desktop "Desktop Recorder" is failing to capture clicks, field inputs, nothing works

Automating a java application - Power Automate Desktop "Desktop Recorder" fails with no error to capture clicks, field inputs, etc.  Nothing works.

 

Any settings or ideas on how to correct?
