Flow is creating two entries in list

Hello

I am a novice user using the templates, help and some basic knowledge to create simple flows These consist of a form being completed that then fills a list and sends an email notification .

I have around 4 of these that have all worked fine , three are still ok but the fourth in October, after operating for 6 months without a hitch, suddenly started creating 2 identical entries in the list.

I have checked the form and only single entries are being made

I have removed and reattached the data source

I have removed email trigger to see if that was causing a rerun

The only thing I have noticed is if I run a test using existing data I get one entry, but a manual test with new data gives two entries

Run history from todays test

I know I am not overly fluent, but can anybody help ?

Thank you

In you Get response details, action, you should not be in a loop.  Simple reference the response ID from the trigger.

If Power automate automatically puts you in a loop, you might be using an old connector (this happens sometimes when you use templates) - update the trigger and Get response details actions.

Let me know if you need more help.

    Thanks for the reply.

I thought of this but couldn't find a way to "update" triggers especially the "get response details" as removing and creating again stops the create action section working.

As its a small flow might just be quicker to recreate if I can't update triggers on the fly

    Thank you

I agree - you should be able to recreate this Flow in a few minutes.  Give it a try.  Remember to turn off the original Flow.

I rebuilt the flow without a template and now back working

    Thanks for your input
