Hi, I am running a power automate flow to send emails when someone submits a ticket, but i am having issues in the email delivery. The emails are getting delayed for 2-3 days and sometime i receive same email multiple time or all at once. How can i solve this issue?
Hi @creativeopinion, I have removed the conditions and applied the trigger conditions. I am gonna monitor this for a few days.
Unfortunately, i deleted the old automations so i do not have screenshots now.
Thanks.
@Anekant When you just add the Send an Email action—an Apply to Each action should not be added automatically. However, if you insert a dynamic content into the Send an Email action and then an Apply to Each action is being added automatically—this is because you are using a dynamic content that is returning an array of values.
Can you expand your Send an Email action and show me which dynamic content you are adding that is causing the Apply to Each action to be added to your flow?
Also, if you need a flow to trigger when a new item is created and when an item is modified—I believe you'll need to create two separate flows.
Hi @creativeopinion, when i am adding a mail trigger, the apply to each is automatically applying.
The reason of this flow is to trigger email, when someone submits a form and later when the status changes to approved, i am sending a different email.
@Anekant Can you provide insight on your flow logic? I'm not understanding the need for the Apply to Each Actions. Your flow trigger will only return a single item. An Apply to Each action isn't necessary in your case.
Are you looking to just send the details of an item if the item has been updated with a specific status?
If that's the case, you should utilize a trigger action instead to only trigger your flow when a specific status is set.
