Hello All,
I am trying to add an image to a SharePoint list column (picture type) and do not see the option in the "Create item" action.
Does anyone know of a workaround? Perhaps an https request?
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Norm
hi @Anonymous you coud save the URL link, if you want an image you can pass the base 64 code of the image,
Hi @ChristianAbata,
Thanks for the response. The image is coming from a mobile device and the Flow is being triggered by a "Button", so there is no URL unless I upload the image to the site.
Is that what you were thinking?
Hi Norm @Anonymous we upload the images from smartphones to an asset library on SharePoint. The flow is very simple but works well, hope it's helpful:

Thanks, @RobElliott I appreciate the detailed response. I got it working in a similar fashion to your example.
There must be an HTTP method that will allow posting to the image column directly. I'm going to keep scratching around.
Thanks again to you and @ChristianAbata.
@Anonymous you are welcome, don't forget to mark as solution to guide others.
how did you get it working in the end?
are you now able to update a sharepoint item with an image?
Hi Rob.
Does this solution still work after the update from Microsoft where pictures are now stored in lists (https://www.microsoft.com/nb-no/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=81986) ?
When I use the standard "New item" button in my Sharepoint list, it is fully possible to upload pictures that will appear as small pictures in the list view. This is great! However, when I go to power apps to make things look more "modern", this upload functionality dissapears.

@Anonymous @chico You can now Create an Image Column in SharePoint/Microsoft Lists and Add an image to SharePoint Image columns using Power Automate instead of using Hyperlink/Picture column.
