Power automate workflow on deleted items

Hi,

Our Power Automate is running on deleted Sharepoint list items even though these deleted items are removed from the recycle bin in Sharepoint.

It's mostly the approval time out action generating emails on these items. This is happening i believe until the Flow run time duration for 30 days.

Is there a way to turn off the workflow not to run on deleted list items?

I'm bomboarded with approval emails even though the item has been deleted even from recycle bin.
These approval timed out emails are generated at odd times as well.

Could you please share the screenshot of the configuration of the flow?

How do you get the deleted items in your flow?

Have you add the Get items action before the approval?

I don't have any get items actions in the workflow. it's mostly approval on a do until loop

it's an workflow with approvals and rejections between various departments. When approved it goes to the next department. When rejected it allows the initiator to resubmit and goes through the approval process again.

These items that i'm still getting email about the approval timed out. The workflow was cancelled and the items have been deleted.

Hi @NoNameOH ,

I suggest that the item shouldn't be deleted, you could update the item and update the flow trigger to when an item is created or modified.

The other wf which runs on restarting the workflow triggers upon when created or updated
