chatbot error when switching off authentication

Hi, i created a chat bot / agent in co-pilot studio added in the source docs/knowledge which included share-point folder and tested it. all works well and answers correctly
when i go to add a "channel" you have to switch off authentication in settings/security first - which i did.
As soon as i publish/save the changes the agent is blocked and give an authentication error - simply will not work until the authentication is switched back on - whereupon you cannot then add a channel.
I then took deleted the sharepoint folder from the knowledge and it works - any ideas how to enable sharepoint authentication so that the bot does not error as i cannot see what settings/permissions should be applied to the sharepoint folder to make it work with the agent? Thanks
