Hello. I have just started using Power Automate, so I apologize for my ignorance.
I am trying to set up relationship between Forms and Excel. When a response is submitted via Forms, I want the response data to update the excel table.
For example, a Forms response is submitted and that response decreases a specific value in the table by 1. I am using Copilot, and Copilot seems to think the current flow should work, but it does not.
Right now I am just trying to establish that I can make this relationship work. Eventually, I would like the Form to include all items in an inventory where people can submit orders. The order data will then update the inventory count in excel.
I am just starting to use Power Automate, so any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to find any articles or videos that relate to this type of relationship. Thank you!
@kalbfleisch Can you provide more insight on how the form response relates to the excel table? Is there a field in your MS Form that captures the unique identifier of the item that needs to be updated in your Excel table? If not you will need to add one to your form otherwise you will not be able to look up an item in your Excel table to update.
