Unable to use browser extension - Microsoft Power Automate (2.55.0.31)

My office 365 has been upgraded since Oct 24th 2025, the browsers(Microsoft edge/Google Chrome/Firefox) can't be installed "extension - Microsoft Power Automate (2.55.0.31)".

I can install this extension via Google Store, however, there is an error in "service worker" - "Unchecked runtime.lastError: Specified native messaging host not found."

Due to this error, Power Automate Desktop web automation can't assume the brower, even can't locate the element of the web. And all the web automation desktop flows can't be run now.

Can anyone help me out on this? Thank you!

Hi @Captivebird

Just curious, did you install from the MS Store or MSI? Personally I recommend using the MSI Install Power Automate - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn and uninstall re-install.

I realize its an extension seeming problem but re-installing both can help.

Hi Michael E. Gernaey,
It is not related to the installer.

I asked other user to install Microsoft Power Automate Extension in Browser Chrome, he encountered the same
error in "service worker" - "Unchecked runtime.lastError: Specified native messaging host not found."

Due to this error, we can't use "Add UI element" via Web Automation in editor.
Hope Microsoft is aware of this issue after M365 upgrade and develop new browser extension to resolve this problem.
