Convert Time Zone Error

Hello,

I have a flow with a couple 'Convert Time Zone' actions. It has been working well but, I am getting the following error:

Evaluation of inputs for the expression action of kind 'ConvertTimeZone' failed: 'Required property 'baseTime' expects a value but got null. Path ''.'.

The error is happening when one of the date/time fields is left blank. It is not a required field, so it will sometimes come through blank. But the error is stopping my flow. I've gone into the Configure After Run settings and selected all the options to let the flow continue even if this step fails, skips or times out, but it still stops the flow at this point.

The purpose of this is just to get the date/time information to come through in the proper format, so maybe there is just a better way to do that...

Any ideas how to move past this error?

Thank you!

Amy

@ahartsfield It's hard to provide proper support without seeing the full flow. One way of dealing with an empty value is to add a Condition action to check if the value is empty before attempting to covert the date/time value.

Tip: Rename your actions to keep things organized. This will make it a lot easier to identify which dynamic content belongs to which action. Depending on how many Convert Time Zone actions you have in your flow, things can get pretty confusing.

When you rename your actions, it makes them easier to identify.

    Thank you!

Using a condition worked. I couldn't leave it blank, I had to put "null" in the equals to condition, but then it worked.

I'm usually better at naming my steps, but it's a great reminder.

    Thanks again!
