How to use the Recorder in Power Automate Desktop?

I have recently discovered this recorder feature and I would like to test it out. However I have the following questions about it:

  1. How do I install Power Automate for desktop? I have O365 and so only have access the web based power automate.
  2. Once I record a desktop flow, how exactly can I use it? Every tutorial I have seen shows how to record a desktop flow, but how do you save it and run it afterwards?
  3. Is there a way to run a desktop flow from an automated or scheduled flow developed in the web version of power Automate? Eg. at the end of each week run this desktop flow, or when an MS Form is submitted run this desktop flow etc

    Try this:  https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/power-automate/9NFTCH6J7FHV?hl=en-us&gl=us

You create a new flow under "My flows" and once you are in the flow, click record.  With each mouseclick or keyboard entry, you should see the recorder fill up with commands.  Then select Done and all those recorded actions will be added to your flow.

    Best of luck!
