No dynamic content in action Send an email

Hi,

I'm trying to send an email to the person modifying a file in OneDrive, but I can't get any dynamic content for the To-field in the action Send an email. The other fields works fine, but not the To-field.

I've tried different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, and Edge), and also different triggers (SharePoint and OneDrive).

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you have click the "See more" button within right Dynamic content panel?

The issue is confirmed on my side, when you want to fill a Dynamic content within To field of "Send an email" action, the Dynamic contents of the trigger would not be expanded automatically, you should click the "See more" button within right Dynamic content panel as below:12.JPG

The Dynamic contents of the trigger would be shown up as below and then select the Last modified by dynamic content:13.JPG

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Thank you @v-xida-msft!

Now I have a new question 🙂 When I chose "Last modified by" and run the workflow I get an error saying "One or more recipients are invalid".

Should I start a new thread?

    Best Regards,

    Mattias

    Hi @Anonymous,

The issue is confirmed on my side, the result the Last modified by dynamic content returned is the name of the editor rather than the email address.

The result the Last modified by dynamic content returned as below:16.JPG

I afraid that there is no way to send an email to the person modifying a file in OneDrive in Microsoft Flow currently, if you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

    Best regards,
