TEXT TO EXCEL FLOW

Hi,

I have 4 text files from a CSS system that I want to make an automation to create an excel file with them in separate sheets

They look like this.

Each file has different columns though, but they will always be labeled the same in terms of file names.

How do I start this?

    Hello Kobenix

In my view for this you can work with Excel Power Query to solve this problem

    Thanks

    Kannan 🙂

    Hey

Not sure whether this is still an issue of yours (this is an old post), but creating and working in Excel files are quite easy using Power Automate Desktop.

You start by using Launch Excel action. Then you need need to put the content of the CSS file as a variable, and use that variable to Write to Excel worksheet, and potentially also using it when using Close Excel (in the filename you'll save it as).

I covered something similar here in case you are interested: Automate your stock analysis with Power Automate Desktop.

    Best regards
