I noticed that one of the PowerApps samples references icons by name:

Concurrent(
    Set(StepsPanelCodeFontSize, 10),
    Set(_selectedTutorial, {Row: 1, Title: "About", Image: HomeIcon}),

)

Does anyone know where I can optain a complete list of valid Icon names? I want to create my own collection with different icons.

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to obtain a complete list of valid Icon Names within PowerApps?

I think you have some misunderstanding about referencing icons by name. Currently, the built-in valid Icon Names are not supported within PowerApps.

If you want to reference Icon Image via name, you must embed your media files into your app firstly. The screenshot as below:Then you could use the embed Media files via the Name within your app:

You can get them all listed (and in fact select and use them) by start typing this under the expression field:
Basel_

It looks like this has been removed! Bummer! I get no list now when typing "Basel_" into the .Image property of an Image control.

It’s there. Type “Icon.” and you’ll see the list of available icons.
